About the Role & the Team

This role will provide an opportunity to carry out quality installations of demarcation products to a high standard and in an efficient manner. The role will work as part of a team and will have a focus on health and safety and customer service at all times.

There are lots of development opportunities at Heras. Our very own Regional Installation Manager who covers the South has progressed through his career at Heras. He originally started as a labourer then progressed to a Lead Installer, then Project Manager and then a Regional Installation Manager.


This role will be field based and the successful candidate must live within 20 minutes’ drive from SG8 postcode. This role is based predominantly outdoors and as such will require you to work in all different weather conditions incorporating health and safety requirements. The role also involves extensive travel to different sites in a variety of locations and may require occasional overnight stays.


Role Overview

  • Assist with Health and Safety checks and equipment checks.
  • Liaise with Lead to check installation in correct areas and discuss potential issues.
  • Ensure area of work is cordoned off and in place where work entails working near public areas.
  • Ensure excavation process is correct and to standards set.
  • Understanding and gaining knowledge of all services and how to excavate around these.
  • Knowledge of how construction sites work and the disciplines of work to be used.
  • Keeps the labouring workflow continuous to achieve the targets.
  • Gains knowledge and understanding of process, procedures and can maintain quality standards.
  • Works towards understanding what is require next and becomes fully independent to work alone.
  • Works with Lead and takes guidance from them to fulfil all requirements of the role.
  • Develops throughout the 0-18 month development cycle to become fully capable of the next steps.

About You

Essential

  • Driving License
  • Basic English and maths skills
  • Experience of working within a similar industry
  • Flexible, with the ability to work on own initiative and to tight timescales
