We are currently searching for a Commercial Manager to join Heras. 

Starting in 1952 as a small family-owned fencing and gate company, Heras has grown into an European leading end-to-end supplier of perimeter protection solutions. The Commercial Manager will report to the Country Manager, based in the UK. This role is based at our Doncaster or Middleton site in an office environment, with extensive travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays. The overall purpose of the role is working as part of the management team, the role takes responsibility for driving commercial excellence throughout the business, with a focus on major bid management.

Role Requirements

  • Responsible for commercial best practice across the business
  • Ownership of contractual reviews and the negotiation of the most advantageous and risk managed position when undertaking works
  • Day to day management of the team of Estimators, from the triage process through to margin approval and sign off.
  • Development, implementation and policing of authorisation levels for orders, quotes, credit notes etc…
  • Driving margin improvement initiatives to deliver outturn margins on jobs above estimate
  • Full UK driving license
  • Degree educated

  • A practical approach to work
  • Substantial experience within a similar role with a proven track record of bid tendering and negotiating contracts
  • Experience of working within a similar industry with similar services and solutions
