Project: Hotel
Location: The Midlands
Products: Automated access control gate and a pedestrian access control gate
Heras was approached with a requirement to enhance site security and streamline access control of a hotel site in the Midlands. The goal was to install robust access control systems that would manage both vehicle and pedestrian entry, without compromising on safety or convenience.
The property required a reliable solution during ongoing renovation works. The system needed to clearly define site boundaries, manage the flow of traffic and ensure the safety of both guests and workers.
As with every project, Heras has a ‘safety-first’ mantra. This was at the heart of every aspect of the planning and installation of the project from start to finish. This culture comes right from the top of the company and cascades down so that every member of the team in the UK (as well as all the other European territories in which Heras operates) embraces safe working practices, making them an integral part of every aspect of Heras’s operations.
We supplied and expertly installed Heras fencing systems – trusted solutions known for their durability and versatility. The project included:
– An automated access control gate: A Heras security gate was installed at the main entrance, which was integrated with a keypad and fob-based access system to allow authorised vehicle entry.
– A pedestrian access gate: A separate Heras gate was installed with a secure latch and digital access control panel for staff and service personnel.
The entire installation was completed on schedule and to the client’s full satisfaction. The client praised the professional service and the immediate improvement in site management, with four key results:
– Enhanced site security during active renovations
– Clear separation between public and restricted areas
– Streamlined access for authorised individuals
– Minimal disruption to daily operations
