Heras Railing gate range can be supplied to match any Heras self-raking railing system.
Both single lead and double leaf swing gates are available in a range of standard sizes which are listed below. All gates are supplied complete with a standard slip-latch, lockable dropbolt and gate posts.
Swing Gates and gate posts are manufactured generally in accordance with (and in some respects exceeding) the requirements of BS1722, Part One (for heights of 1.8m high and below). The standard width of a single leaf gate is 1.2m wide, enabling it to fall in line with disabled access requirements.
Under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) it is now mandatory for manufacturers to apply CE marking to any product that is covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN).
Gates are covered by standard BS EN 12604.
Heras has therefore introduced all necessary procedures and practices into their gate manufacture, in order to be able to CE mark every gate that it produces.
Every gate that leaves the Heras factory will have a CE mark plate fixed to the inside edge of the gate which is individual to that gate and allows for full traceability. Heras will also include within the packaging of every gate, the O&M manual (Operations & Maintenance).
Buying a CE marked gate from Heras allows you to have complete peace of mind that every reasonable precaution has been taken to know that the gate is safe, and have the testing and operation evidence trail available should it ever be required.
You can find all our CE Marked Gates in the Gates category.
