The CentrAlert perimeter intrusion detection rack offers an extremely accurate solution for cut, climb, hacksaw and lift detection on chain link and semi-rigid fencing. The rack unit with maximum twelve slotted analyser cards works as follows:

  • Intruder attacks are detected by microphonic sensor cables which ‘listen’ to sounds along the fence line and relay these to the analyser cards.
  • The analysers check the sensor cable signals for genuine tamper and alarm threats and transmit these signals via RS232 connections to a PC running SMS software (Heras or third party).
  • The rack unit is simple to install with all connections via a multi-pair feeder cable marshalling box. Alarm and sensitivity adjustment is via serial signals to/from the SMS PC.

Sites requiring more than 24 detection zones can add extra units, and cards, all linked to the same SMS PC.

CentrAlert is recommended for high security locations such as prisons, borders, commercial and industrial sites.
