About the Role & the Team

Are you a reliable and committed Internal Sales Advisor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment? If so, we would love to receive your application to join the Heras family.


This role will provide an opportunity for a confident, outgoing and motivated individual with a bubbly personality looking to join the Heras family. You will be part of the internal sales team working alongside the wider sales team including Sales Estimators, Regional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers. The team is a friendly team who like to get together outside of work and do social events.

This role will be predominantly based in the Doncaster office.


Role Overview

  • Producing quotations in line with customer requirements
  • Arranging quote follow-ups and other proactive tasks
  • Proactively find new accounts and bring them on board
  • Accurately processing orders
  • Raising invoices
  • Providing customers with technical support in a consultative manner
  • Proactively increasing sales whilst managing own customer base
  • Calling existing customers to up-sell and gain orders
  • Liaising with all departments to ensure the smooth delivery of each order
  • General account management
  • Office administration duties
  • Receiving inbound and making outbound calls
  • Receiving complaints and processing them through the internal system
  • Lead generation
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out

About You

Essential:

  • GCSE’s qualifications in Maths and English
  • Good working level of ICT skills on applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of working within an office environment within a sales role
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in achieving KPIs
  • Experience in solving customer queries
  • Ownership: You look after tasks, queries, and problems and take responsibility from start to finish, ensuring a great service
  • Resilience: You are able to recover from setbacks quickly, and are able to thrive within a fast paced, busy environment
  • Communication: You are able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels
  • Customer Service: You are able to deliver the utmost service/support to the business and our customers
  • Team Player: Provide ongoing support to the team and work together to achieve common goals
  • Organisation: You are able to organise your own workload and prioritise tasks when required

Desirable:

  • Degree in relevant subject or
  • Qualification in Business or relevant field
  • Experience within the construction or engineering industry
