About the Role

We are currently searching for a reliable, committed and with the ability to become an expert in their field to join the Heras family as a Installer . This role will play an integral part in helping to achieve our strategic aim of becoming Europe’s No.1 premium perimeter protection brand.

This role will be field based around St Albans with regular travel across other Heras and customer sites in the UK and occasional to regular overnight stays.

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking labourer with initiative who is looking for an opportunity to grow within an industry leading company. This role will involve working alongside the Lead Installer carrying out labouring duties on Heras customer sites across the UK.

Duties will include physically demanding lifting and carrying of barrows of concrete, fence posts, and steel fencing in an outdoor environment which could include hot and cold conditions. Health and safety is paramount to our business and so candidates must have the ability to understand and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Hours of work are 8am – 5.30pm (45 hours per week) Monday to Friday with flexibility required including early morning starts (often 6am but can be earlier, depending on the location of each job). As a general rule, we require 7 hours on site working plus travel time.

About You

Essential

  • Driving License
  • CSCS Card
  • Basic English and maths in order to understand health and safety instructions and quantities of materials
  • Experience of working within a similar industry
  • Strong work ethic, committed to achieving high standards of work
  • Able to use own initiative and to get on with work with minimal prompting
  • Flexible with regards to working hours and overnight stays
  • Good communicator including with on-site customers
  • Team player willing to help out others to get the job done
