DURABLE
Heras Ballcourt systems are likely to take more physical punishment that
any type of fence. The initial selection of construction materials and
design is crucial to the success of the overall project. Heras uses robust
materials throughout its systems to ensure that they will withstand the
general ‘wear and tear’ to which ballcourt systems are subjected.
|
DETAILED
CAD DESIGN
Heras has used extensively its in-house CAD system and computerised wind-loading
models to develop a range of systems that offer ideal solutions to any
ballcourt fencing requirement. Every last detail has been considered to
ensure that installation of the system will be as trouble free as possible. |
COMPREHENSIVE
PACKAGE
Our aim in developing these systems has been to make it as simple as possible
for the end client, or his nominated specifier, to obtain a complete ball-court
fencing solution. There is no need for them to source individual components
and work out how they fit together….we have already done that, bringing
to bear our vast experience with this type of product. |
SO
MUCH CHOICE IN DESIGN
Whether you are wanting a five a side court with kickboards or double skin
for adjacent multi use courts, Heras have the solution. You have the choice
of two panel options, the Multi mesh rebound panel, or the Pallas panel.
Also available with both systems are fixing brackets for kickboard, goal
recesses, and spectator rail, as well as single and double leaf gates.

| OPTION
1 – THE MULTI-MESH PANEL SYSTEM
|
The
system comprises Pallas above the 2.0m high Combination Multi-mesh Rebound
Panel. Pallas panels are manufactured using 6.00 mm diameter vertical wires
and twin 8.00 mm horizontal wires, forming a 200 x 50 mm mesh. The 2.0m
Combination Multi-mesh Rebound Panel is similar to the Pallas Panel with
additional horizontal 8mm wires to increase strength over the lower 1.2m.

|
| SOME
OF THE MANY BENEFITS OF USING HERAS 'MULTI-MESH' REBOUND PANELS |
WHY
CHOOSE THE HERAS REBOUND PANEL?
When Heras came up with the rebound panel as an alternative to timber boards,
we knew we had hit on a brilliant design. Because of this, we feel this
makes us the leading manufacturer in the current market- place. |
DESIGN
ENGINEERS
Heras have a team of dedicated design engineers who are constantly
striving to conform to all relevant standards to ensure our rebound
panel is the safest, strongest, most secure there is. |
PANEL
STRENGTH
Unlike chain link and weld mesh rolls. The rebound panel will not
loose its shape. It is capable of taking many years of continuous
sporting action. |
UNIFORM
BOUNCE
Designed to provide a perfect ‘rebound surface’, with
the ends of the mesh covered by a flat bar, thus making a flush internal
play area. |
DOUBLE
SKIN
Multi mesh panels can be fitted to both sides of the post where a
fence is dividing two courts therefore providing a rebound surface
to each court. |
|
VISIBILITY
With mesh rebound panels, visibility into the court is unimpaired.
There are no “blind spots” of hiding places. |
COLOUR
OPTIONS
Mesh rebound panels can be coated in a variety of colours, to match
or contrast with the upper mesh, and with the environment.. |
NOISE
REDUCTION
The anti-rattle clip is designed to reduce noise between panel and
post whilst the court is in use. |
RIGIDITY
The Heras rebound panels are specially designed to be the strongest,
most rigid panels available for this purpose. |
EASE
OF MAINTENANCE
Mesh panels are virtually maintenance free. |
|
|
| OPTION
2 - THE PALLAS PANEL SPORTS SYSTEM |
The
system utilises the Pallas panel. Pallas panels are manufactured using 6.00
mm diameter vertical wires and twin 8.00 mm horizontal wires, forming a
200 x 50 mm mesh. As with the multi-mesh system, these are also available
in 3m, 4m and 5m high.

FACILITIES AVAILALBLE FOR BOTH OPTIONS |
GRADIENTS
By their very nature, ball-courts are generally flat, but often a very
gentle gradient is required to assist drainage. This gradient can be achieved
using the Heras systems, utilising standard posts, but stepping panels
to set distances – details can be provided on request. |
DOUBLE-SKIN
OPTIONS
It is possible for the multi-mesh panels to be fixed to both sides of
the post, where a fence is dividing two courts. This provides a rebound
surface to each court. |
KICK-BOARD
OPTION
Both the Pallas panel system and the single skin multi-mesh system are
available with ‘universal’ fixing brackets that facilitate
the attachment of timber kick boards along the bottom of the fence. The
brackets can accommodate boards between 150mm and 350mm in height, and
a thickness of up to 50mm. The kick board is fitted in front of the mesh.
|
GOAL
RECESS OPTION
The Heras systems incorporate a standard option for goal recess areas,
utilising smoothly rounded cover plates. |
SPECTATOR
RAIL
This system comprises of a 1.0m high panel, which can be either the Pallas
panel or the multi-mesh panel, with posts at 2.5m centres. It is finished
off with a Top rail giving the overall height of 1.2m high. It can be
installed to blend in along side both styles of ball-courts.

|
| INTEGRAL
GATES |
Heras has designed single-leaf and double-leaf gates to fit as seamlessly
and unobtrusively into the fence line as possible. Single gates are nominally
1.2m wide and 2.0m high. Double leaf gates are nominally 3.0m wide and
3.0m high. These standard gates are ideal whether the fence around them
is 3.0m, 4.0m, or 5.0m high.
