Heras Classic Range ELEGANTLY ATTRACTIVE The 'Heras Classic' range of vertical bar fencing systems has been designed to be graceful in appearance and aesthetically appealing. These systems are particularly appropriate for prestige projects - after all, perimeter fencing often creates a first impression of the building or business that it protects. They Combine finest quality workmanship with state-of-the-art finishing techniques to provide an immaculate end product. DESIGNED-IN SECURITY FEATURES Unlike many traditional railings systems, the Atlas and Olympus options incorporate bars that protrude at both the top and the bottom of the fence, extra protection is afforded, at heights of 1500mm and above, by way of the vertical bars being bevelled. The Heracles option features a sharp, serrated top at heights of 1500mm and above, to deter would-be climbers. The connection between panels and posts is tamper-resistant thanks to an ingenious bracket complete with vandal proof fixing. FLEXIBILITY These systems can be adapted for use on slopes through the provision of adjustable raking panels, the use of which allows a certain amount of flexibility on site. The special Heras bracket connections mean that there is no need to risk damaging the integrity of the coating by drilling posts on site. Being modular in nature, these systems are relatively inexpensive to repair in the event of damage as individual bays can be replaced independently of one another. Depending on the application, the post is extended for concreting in or provided with a baseplate. Posts are sealed with a post cap at the top and connect to the railing panels by means of stainless steel brackets. The vertical bars are tubular and are placed at a distance of 150mm centre-on-centre. This can be varied to 125mm on request, for added safety. The Horizontal girders are of one-sided convex steel section. The vertical bars pass through the horizontals and are welded in place.
