The Heras HG1 Gate Range

FREEDOM OF CHOICE

The HG1 gate range provides standard, secure gate designs which allow the client to specify gates that match any of the Heras fencing systems. The range includes both single and double leaf gates, complete with gate posts, that can be supplied from our standard range.

SECURE TOPPINGS

Excluding Ball-courts, all gates are available with or without vertical extensions to carry security toppings such as barbed (razor) tape. Gates with extensions are supplied complete with all necessary fittings to take the chosen topping.

BRITISH STANDARDS/QUALITY ASSURANCE

HG1 Gates and gate posts are manufactured generally in accordance with (and in some respects exceed) the requirements of BS1722, Part One (for heights of 1.8m high and below). The standard width of a single leaf gate is 1.2m wide, enabling it to fall in line with disabled access requirements.

COMPLETE PACKAGE

ALL HG1 gates are supplied complete with lockable sliplatch, site adjustable hangings, lockable dropbolts and ground tubes as standard.

FINISH

All HG1 Gates are Hot Dip Galvanised and can, if required, also be powder coated in a choice of various colours. Full details available upon request.

EXTRA GATE POST REQUIREMENTS

All HG1 gates can be manufactured to open in or out as required, and all gate posts are available free standing or to take fence.

BASEPLATED OPTION

All HG1 gate posts can also be fitted with the standard Heras baseplate.

HERAS CLASSIC GATES

The Euro Gate Range is designed to match the Heras Classic Range (Vertical Bar Fencing) and is available in the same three styles, Heracles, Atlas and Olympus. Box section gate posts have welded hinges with adjustable hangings that are able to rotate to a maximum of 180 degrees. Heras mortice locks and internal drop bolts complete the furniture.
The gate posts are supplied as standard to go into the ground but if required can be fitted with a baseplate.

STANDARD EURO GATE SIZES

HIGH DEGREE OF SECURITY

The Euro Gate incorporates a virtually unforceable security lock, which is integrated into the frame. When the gate is locked the internal drop bolt is secured making lifting out impossible. This unique lock has no protruding parts to cause possible injury and comes complete with aluminium door handles. An added feature is that the gates can be locked in both open and closed positions. The fact that these gates have no diagonal bracing means that there is no aid to would-be climbers.

DURABLE AND FUNCTIONAL

The Euro gate is designed to be robust and provide many years of trouble-free life in service. The gate leaves themselves can turn through 180o, thereby providing full, unobstructed access.
